At Aged Care and Nursing Facilities, with a centralised nursing supervisor, the Looking Glass - Care Hub app connects roaming onsite care staff to the head nurse instantly for emergencies or medical inquiries revolutionising communication for nursing staff.

7:00am

Nurse Alison, the site RN (Registered Nurse) and the floor Care Teams (Jasmyn, Paul, Georgia, and Lilly) start their shifts. They all launch the Looking Glass - Care Hub app and join their shift Hub so Nurse Alison knows that they are on the floor and ready to care for patients.

7:10am

Nurse Alison calls the team into a shift Room in the Looking Glass - Care app for their regular start-of-shift catch-up.

After a chat and few clinical notes have been exchanged, all team members put their phones away and automatically revert to the Care Hub standby mode.

Jasmyn finds an elderly resident who has fallen and appears to be experiencing a medical episode.

Jasmyn immediately commences the Urgent Response Protocol, which includes a hands-on first aid assessment and unlocking her phone to activate the Looking Glass - Care Hub app.

The video feed starts immediately and Jasmyn presses the in-app Escalate button to get the attention of Nurse Alison.

Within 2 seconds, Nurse Alison is speaking with Jasmyn and discussing the live feed of the situation. Nurse Alison lends her expertise remotely while activating the appropriate care team members to assist.

At the same time, Jasmyn is benefiting from the reassurance that her actions are being supervised by an experienced RN.

Unlocking her phone, she promptly launches the Looking Glass - Care Hub app which automatically reconnects with Nurse Alison.
